Putting something back into the local community is a central part of each Riders adventure with Ticket to Ride. Each project underlines Ticket to Ride’s dedication to travel responsibly and also gives Riders the unique opportunity to experience African culture first hand.

Each trip will give Riders the opportunity to involve themselves in a number of on going community projects that are supported by Ticket to Ride throughout the year.

TTRide Community Projects include:

• Township Football Coaching
• Helping out at the township day care centre teaching, sport music, arts and crafts.
  
• Getting involved in teaching township children how to surf.
  
• Ensuring that the local school is able to offer its children proper meals.
  
• Getting involved with local environmental projects set up to protect indigenous plants.
